Slipper Day 2026
Last year, 118,000 young people in the UK faced homelessness. That’s one person every four minutes!
Join us on Friday, March 13, 2026, for Slipper Day – a fun and meaningful way to make a difference for young people facing homelessness in the UK.
How It Works:
Our ask is simple: wear your favourite, comfiest or silliest slippers to school and make a small donation in support of young people facing homelessness. Together, we will make a real difference to young people facing homelessness.
Why Slippers?
Slippers represent the comfort and security of home – something many young people go without. By participating in Slipper Day, you’ll help change that.
The Impact You Make:
Your support helps EveryYouth provide essential services and long-term opportunities to young people experiencing homelessness. Together, we are building a brighter future.

What if I cannot wear slippers at work or school? If slippers are not allowed, try other cozy options like pyjamas, eye masks, or even carrying a hot water bottle. Just be sure to get approval from your employer or teacher.
Do I need to sign up, or can I just donate? While signing up helps us keep track of participants, you are welcome to simply donate if you prefer.
Can teams or groups join together? Yes! Slipper Day is even more fun with friends, colleagues, or classmates. Consider organising a group challenge or competition.
Is this event UK-only? Anyone from anywhere can participate! Just donate online and join in from your location.
