The recent news about homelessness has been bleak. People experiencing homelessness have been demonised and brushed aside (yes, we are referring to rough sleeping being called a ‘lifestyle choice’.)
The last thing that young people facing homelessness need is the feeling they are social anomalies. We know that young people have an incredible capacity for change. We are relentlessly optimistic about young people’s futures and confident in their ability to live fulfilling independent lives. Half of the battle is getting young people to believe this about themselves.
