EveryYouth is proud to share that we have been awarded a grant from the Homewards Fund, launched by Prince William and The Royal Foundation of The Prince and Princess of Wales’ under their innovative Homewards programme.
Homewards is a transformative five-year, locally led programme launched in six locations across the UK that aims to put the nation on a path to ending homelessness.
The Homewards Fund aims to support the delivery of each location’s Action Plan. Up to £500,000 of seed funding will be available to each location across the five years.
EveryYouth, with the help of the Homewards Fund grant, will use our track-record of driving purposeful collaboration and project management to revitalise a Youth Homelessness Board in conjunction with Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council.
Existing and exciting plans for a Board will be reviewed and refined, relevant people reconnected, and the Board will be put on course to support the prevention of youth homelessness, with the support of partners across the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole (BCP) area.
EveryYouth CEO Nick Connolly said: “EveryYouth is delighted to join forces with the Homewards Campaign to support Bournemouth, Pool, and Christchurch Combined Authority.
“The Royal Foundation’s convening power makes projects like this – where we are collaborating to better integrate the public and voluntary support for young people experiencing homelessness – possible.”
Additional funding will ensure that new and existing projects are collaboratively developed in an innovative and impactful way.
The Homewards Fund is being managed and administered by Homeless Link.
